This was good because the 1000 piece puzzles keep you busy but aren't overwhelming with space requirements. This one you can sort colors fairly easily, so several people could work at once doing a separate section. There are enough patterns in the stack to be able to locate where most pieces go or are generally located. You can actually use your brain instead of trying endless pieces of one color without clear patterns or shading.

The picture on the box if very clear.  The puzzle itself is very blurred.  It's hard to tell the meat from the bread, the french fries from the cheese, and I have yet to figure out what the beige pieces are supposed to be.  There are four pieces on the border of the puzzle I bought that didn't get printed with the puzzle; it's just the plain cardboard.

5 of 5 Time to Meat
Reviewer: Moeldawg from Pittsburgh, PA
Bought this puzzle as a Chrsitmas gift for my teenager. This sandwich was a hit with my 14-year-old son--just the right amount of pieces and challenge. Completing this puzzle as a family was a fun way to spend some hours together and reminded me how much I loved doing jigsaw puzzles with my grandfather as a child.

2 of 5 IImprobable Ingredients

Aside from from some improbable ingredients, my old eyes had some difficulty with the dark muted browns and darker colors that seemed hard to discern differences. So what to do? Those portions relied almost entirely on the shape of the pieces. Not a problem, but did detract from the enjoyment factor. I've completed over a dozen of Springbok 1000 piece puzzles, and this was the least fun simply because of the dark, blurry, and fuzzy color definition.

I thought this puzzle was more difficult than an"Intermediate".  When doing the white border is the easiest part you know you're in trouble!  Lots of colors to work with but lots of shades of each color to make it more difficult to complete.

We really loved this puzzle. Great activity to do, it brought the family together more. We finish this puzzle over a year ago and it's still sitting on display in our dining room now. A trophy of Family Unity.
