I was slightly disappointed in the size of the trays when my order came because I had not paid attention to the product description when I ordered. However, we used them to work the Let the Good Times Roll puzzle, and they were so helpful! We were able to aggregate the pieces into manageable chunks to work specific areas of the puzzle and we didn't lose any pieces in the process--something that almost always happens when the pieces are spread out over the table and surrounding surfaces!

What took me so long?
I was motivated to get sorting trays due to limited table space. I have used them to do my last 2 puzzles. I love that I can reach for the tray of peices I want to look at and bring them close to me with to view instead of walking around the table or straining to see them scattered about. Game changer. I just purchased a second set to give as a gift to a puzzling friend. :)

Excellent idea, need to offer larger set also. I bought this set and it works, but does not hold enough pieces.
